The DOT propane cylinders that are on the travel trailer or 5th wheel has a 10 year initial recertification date and 5 years there after. For example, if the date on the ring of the cylinder is 02-14 then your propane cylinder needs to be recertified by 02-24. The ASME tank on a motorhome do not have to be recertified.
